SB03 FINE CEMENT MORTAR
CB 03 is a fine cement mortar for smoothing concrete and reinforced concrete, filling cracks and repairing damaged surfaces up to 5 mm. The solution can be applied to both vertical and horizontal surfaces indoors and outdoors. SB 03 is part of the concrete remediation system and meets all the requirements of BDS EN 1504 - 3.

PREPARATION
Fine cement mortar SB 03 has good adhesion to load-bearing, clean concrete bases, without cracks and substances that can impair adhesion. Corroded and carbonized concrete and all unstable layers are removed mechanically. Rust from the reinforcing steel should be removed by sandblasting, after which the bars should be cleaned with compressed air. The reinforcing bars and the formed cavities are covered twice with SB 01, then they are filled with sanitizing solution SB 02. The surface is sprayed with water until slightly moistened and the fine cement solution SB 03 is applied. When applying the fine solution directly on the concrete base, the same must be sprayed with water, after which the slightly damp base must be covered with a contact layer CB 01. The repair solution must be applied to the slightly damp contact layer, but no later than 30 to 60 minutes after its laying. In case this time is exceeded, the contact layer must be applied once more after the applied layer has completely dried. One package of 25 kg. stir in 5.5 liters of water. In a deep container with smooth walls, pour the specified amount of water for one package, add the dry mixture in parts and mix with an electric mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixture is left for about 5 minutes and stirred again.
RECOMMENDATION
Fine cement mortar SB 03 should be used in dry conditions, at temperatures from +5°C to +30°C and relative humidity below 80%. The solution must be protected from too rapid drying. Until it is completely dry, the solution must be protected against rain.
Excess material can be cleaned with water while still wet. Once the product has hardened, removal is only possible mechanically.
CB 03 contains cement and reacts alkaline with water, so skin and eyes must be protected. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and consult a doctor.

Laying
The finished solution must be applied within 30 minutes with a trowel on the wet base. The surface of the applied mixture is smoothed with a steel or plastic trowel or sponge within 10-30 min. When the solution is applied in several layers, the time between successive applications should not exceed 3 hours. Otherwise, it is necessary to wait 24 hours for the substrate to be moistened again, a contact layer applied and the fine cement mortar applied again. SB 03 can also be used as a final coating. Additional protection of concrete against corrosion, impact of water, chlorides, aggressive agents and climatic effects is provided by covering SB 03 with an impregnator for concrete structures - SB 04.
